NAD IV Therapy

What is NAD?

NAD is short for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, it is a coenzyme found in every single cell. This coenzyme plays an important role in cellular energy production, metabolic functioning of the digestive system, cognition, mental clarity, aging and energy levels of the body.

The levels of NAD in the body decrease with age. In fact, by the time we are middle-aged, our NAD levels can drop to half of what we had in our youth. NAD helps maintain the integrity of DNA and has been found to increase the length of telomeres, which are found on the ends of chromosomes and shorten as we age. The shortening of telomeres is linked to disease development and poor health.

NAD is also important for healthy mitochondrial function, skeletal muscle development, metabolic health, and plays a key role in cellular repair. One of its most important roles NAD has within the body is in redox (oxidation-reduction) reactions. These reactions are how our metabolic system converts food into the energy. Therefore, it has been found to be very beneficial in conditions of fatigue, aging, muscle recovery, weight loss and healing.

Benefits of NAD:

  • Aids with addiction recovery of alcohol, opioids & nicotine
  • Improves depression
  • Improves brain health and neurological function
  • Improves mental clarity
  • Improves brain regeneration
  • Diminishes the appearance of wrinkles
  • Slows the aging process
  • Increases energy levels
  • Reduces fatigue
  • Restore muscle function and athletic performance

NAD & Brain Health

NAD helps support optimal brain function. It does this by activating sirtuin activity. Sirtuins are molecules that work within your cells  that have anti-aging properties. These molecules rely on NAD to function properly.

NAD can help maintain mental clarity, focus, protect and protect against neurodegenerative diseases for a healthier and happier quality of life. Thus, can be very beneficial in conditions of cognitive decline such as dementia, decreased focus and memory problems.

Another wonderful effect of NAD is that it increases your body’s levels of serotonin, a neurotransmitter associated with mood regulation, and can improve symptoms of depression and anxiety.

NAD & Metabolic Function

Metabolism is the process by which your body utilizes what you consume(food) and converts it into energy. Metabolism tends to naturally slow down with age and leads to lower energy levels and weight gain.  NAD plays an important role in the body’s oxidation-reduction (redox) reactions. These reactions are how our body converts food into energy which is then utilized by our cells. Therefore, NAD has a positive effect on weight loss and support overall energy levels.

Benefits of NAD IV Therapy for Metabolic Function Include:

    • Increases energy levels
    • Decreases fatigue
    • Restore muscle function and athletic performance
    • Improves metabolism
    • Weight loss

NAD & Addiction and Recovery

NAD is helpful for individuals undergoing therapy for substance abuse and addiction recovery. This treatment reduces cravings and withdrawal symptoms, provides energy to the body, and boosts brain regeneration.

NAD supports the detoxification pathways of the body and reduces the withdrawal symptoms which can help individuals overcome cravings and risk of relapse, while at the same time naturally protecting the brain and speeding up recovery.

Benefits of NAD IV Therapy for Addiction and Recovery Include

  • Fewer withdrawal symptoms
  • Reduce cravings associated with withdrawal
  • Supports energy levels
  • Improves mood
  • Improves brain function
  • Improves cognitive clarity

NAD & Anti-Aging

NAD plays a major role in the aging process by regulating the circadian and metabolic cycles and acting as a regulator for new proteins.  It also helps protect the integrity of DNA, which becomes damaged over time from environmental triggers, toxins, duplication errors, and the damaging effects of free radicals.

RESTORING AND SUPPLEMENTING NAD IN THE BODY CAN IMPROVE PHYSICAL APPEARANCE, PERFORMANCE, RECOVERY AND ENHANCE HEALTH & QUALITY OF LIFE.
